Step 3 Postcard

ok, stuck here. Not sure what else to do. Does it need buttons? Blue ones on the yellow swirls? This is way more beading than I have ever done on fabric and I am kind of happy with the way it turned out so far. Just saw a class on Encrusted Crazy Quilting at Joggles. $60 but I would love to take it. I am going to ask around and see if the people who have taken online classes are satisfied with what they learned and do a little research on Sharon Boggon, the gal giving the class. We'll see how money looks closer to the class I guess. I want to take a class on something so bad. Anyhow this is how far I got.

I think the PC looks wonderful just as it is :)
I've done a couple of classes at Joggles and found them to be good value although the forum sometimes a little awkward to navigate. I think your research will show Sharon Boggon is worth learning from :)

I love the cluster of beads...that is my favorite part...It looks like it is finished to me, but I am not a crazy quilter either....Your embroidery looks beautiful...Melinda

wow, you spent some time on my blog today! the crowns are easy, you might need to make a couple for those little girls. Liv wants me to make a bunch for her birthday party...we'll see..the flowers on the altered pages are made of scrapbook paper wetted, crumpled dried and then put together with a button. I put paint on them too...paper piecing is beautiful and exact but it takes a while to get the hang of it as you are working from the wrong side. you might really like it! gotta go take daniel to cub scouts! xoxox melinda

Scary your postcard is beautiful, i love it! Maybe a smallish blue botton up on that right hand corner, you can always remove it if you dont like it.
I have never done a workshop or course through joggles so sorry cant comment.

Scary, I do have a die cut "thingy"...you crack me up, I love it...The kids and I got a cricut machine for Christmas as we do a lot of paper projects...at first I didnt like it as I couldnt get the paper to stick to the ctting mat and then I thought of using 505 adhesive spray and now I love it so it is starting to show that I am using it. Wouldnt it be cool if it cut fabric????Melinda

Scary I love the postcard. The cluster of bead is my favorite also. I have taken one class on line at Quilt University. It was a portrait quilt class and I am still working on my project. I LOVED taking an on-line class. I could go in at anytime and get lessons, ask questions, etc...I would have finished on time but I became ill and had to take a little time off. I am planning on working on my project this weekend. I visit joggles often and am so wanting to take a fabric art journal class, but need to finish up my other project first. I have heard great things about Sharon Boggon in my crazy quilt international group. Good Luck! I hope this helps! Cheers, Jenna Louise
